The resurrection of Jesus launched an entirely new era for the world. Apart from this we have no sure horizon other than death. God has revealed his glory in raising him from the dead.
This glory is not just a display of himself but an action that has been for us and in which we can be included. Through faith in Christ, we are united with him in his death and resurrection. We can live to the Father, now, as Jesus lives to the Father. Death and sin are no longer determining factors for us. This is also a revelation of glory, not of us, but in us.
We await the coming glory, when our bodies will be changed to be like his glorious body. In all these ways, God desires to show that glory is uniquely his, but that he delights to show his glory by what he does for us and in us.
