We can sing praise to God in the midst of trials by faith in the God of the Bible and resting in His promises. Faith gives the victory that overcomes the world. The fuel of faith is God's past faithfulness, which is predicated on God's unchanging character. We must know God and recount all of His wonderful deeds. When we have trials, we must behold our God, which will fuel our faith. The fruit of faith is praise, alone and together with others, telling others -believers and unbelievers- what God has done. The foe of faith is our present circumstances. Faith doesn't cause our troubles to go away, it merely reinterprets them. God sends trials to test our faith, to make us perfect and to conform us to the image of Christ. The finale of faith is God's final victory. God is coming to judge and will destroy sin and will set up His kingdom where righteousness and justice dwells. We will triumph through faith, which is fueled by feasting on Christ.
