Great Sermon! If you are for Christ likeness in music you should read an arrow pointed to heaven and watch the homeless man video both about Rich Mullins. He is without a doubt the most Godly and Christ centered musician I have seen in my lifetime.

Truth NEVER Changes I still have the tape of a message similar to this one that I heard over twenty years ago when Dr. Garlock visited my church. That message changed my life and my music forever. Now I am teaching my family the same principles. "Tiptoe through the tulips." God bless you Dr. Garlock.

Great Sermon! Thank you Dr. Garlock for this great sermon. I think it is very wise to think carefully about music and that we don't simply accept it. Let us not join the world, but God. Glory be to Him.

Great Sermon! We seem to forget that music and praise are for the Lord's pleasure...not primarily ours! It's not to make us "feel" good, but for "WORSHIP"!
Praised and blessed be the name of the LORD.

Great Sermon! I would call them two messages but they aren't. One message straight from God. I just wish you would have covered Brainwave Synchronization a little bit. That would have really got to all us computer geeks. Excellent on the Greek and Hebrew. I found the same in my studies.

Great Sermon! Great sermon! Dr. Garlock brought up many good biblical references regarding music and God.

Great Sermon! Thank you for your encouragement. It feels like I'm speaking a foreign language in my church when I say anything similar. Studying God's Word for His preferences and wisdom is viewed as lifeless as opposed to the "more important" function of singing loving "praises".

Excellent Sermon! Thank you Dr. Garlock, for speaking out about this subject. Too many people don't. This sermon has blessed me greatly! I highly recommend it!

Great Sermon! Much needed today! Not only are churches becoming known for the music they sing, but also by the Bible they use and eventually by their standards of separation. Again, a timely and much needed message
Great Sermon! These 2 messages are such a necessity for all Christians to hear. I have found it sad, though, that many times a Christian has to stand alone on this issue many times in one's own church and Christian school. CCM is absolutely a god to many Christians, and often when one confronts this god, a very real battle follows.

Great Sermon! A simple (yet thorough) biblical examination of the invasion of the world's music and the danger it poses to us all (not just our youth!!). Be sure to listen to both parts of this series.
Thank you, Dr. Garlock!
