I. The Basic Elements of the Greeting II. The Trinitarian Authority of this Greeting III. The Encouraging Reminders of the Greeting
This message continues the series of sermons on the basic elements of worship. Over the course of this series we will work our way through the liturgy that we ordinarily follow during public worship.
The Greeting establishes that what is happening is not a human and horizontal interaction, but rather the gathering together of God's people with God Himself. We will noticed that the core to New Testament greetings is the extension of PEACE. It is a time of grace and fellowship... a time of joy with our God.
This message focuses our attention on what I believe is the quintessential New Testament greeting... It's Trinitarian, it's Effective and it's filled with encouragement! SO??? WORSHIP!!
