David's heir was assuming His rightful place! The "whole multitude of the disciples" embraced Him as their sovereign. They could not give Him all the glory He deserved, but they did what they could. They cast their garments and their palm branches at His feet, and Christ's enemies were powerless to stop them. You cannot give Him all the glory He's due, but you can do something.
