Sermon on ! Timothy 2:1-4,8 How We Worship: Public Prayer
This message continues the series of sermons I am preaching on the basic elements of worship. Over the course of this series we will basically work our way through the liturgy that we generally follow during our public worship services. The series of sermons will pretty well work our way through the parts of worship as they occur.
Fundamental to worship is prayer. Since the dawn of history (Gen 4) men have been calling upon the name of the LORD. In our present study we turn to the New Testament and note how the order to pray to the Lord for our material needs is explicit.
