We will look at the setting as we begin to understand the plight of the Hebrews and the circumstances surrounding Israel's eventual flight out of Egypt. And we will consider the suffering of the Hebrews in comparison to and similarity with the suffering of believers in this present age.

Great Sermon! The comments on Church history were unnecessarily shallow if not misleading. You can certainly take a harsh view of certain church figures if you choose but there was a dismissive demeanor that was disappointing.
