Thomas would not believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and would not trust his eyes, he wanted to touch Jesus himself. Once the other disciples told Thomas that Jesus rose from the dead, Thomas waited, then 1 week later, Jesus showed up unannounced. Jesus then met Thomas on his terms and knowing what Thomas said, Jesus told Thomas to reach out his hands to touch Him. What will it take for you to believe? The most important thing in this Universe, is if you know Jesus. Life is uncertain, your relationship with Jesus is forever. We should believe in Jesus because He is alive, it is true! How do we come to know Jesus? Verses 30-31 tells us. We encounter Jesus in His word, then we talk to Him, pray to Him, listen to Him, and obey Him. The only hope for any of us is Jesus Christ. Jesus saving us is not just about salvation from Hell, it is about yielding our lives to Jesus.
