“Guarantee” is a promise, especially one that is written down. Here we have a written guarantee from the Great I AM. He tells us there are many afflictions. “Many” tells us there is abundance, various sizes, and all kinds of. Anything and every thing can and will happen. Just being saved doesn't bring these afflictions to a halt. But God Himself will rescue, recover, and/or snatch us out of every single one. We'll go through them with Jesus. We will have to endure persecution and trouble, some even of our own making, but God has promised both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament to deliver us. Friends and family might stand against us. Someone we are praying for may pass away even though we were praying for them to be healed; that doesn't mean they weren't delivered. The deliverance was just different than what we expected it should have been. God will fulfill His promise the way He knows to be best, we just simply need to trust Him and to rely on His rock solid word. What deliverance do you need today? Will you believe His word?
