Paul's Defense Before Felix Episode 45 - The Jews come down to Caesarea with great accusations against Paul having a "hired gun" named Tertullus. After their false testimony before Felix Paul has his turn to state his case. Paul, as he refutes the charges, takes opportunity and testifies to the Gospel during his discourse. Felix holds over his decision until Lysias the commander comes down. Meanwhile as he stalls Felix hopes that Paul will bribe him. Instead Paul preaches his need for Christ bringing Felix under great conviction. Felix wanting to do the Jews a favor left Paul bound for two years until he was replaced by Porcius Festus.
