Oneness Pentecostal adherent Steven Ritchie debates Trinitarian & Director of Research for Christian Answers Steve Morrison, Ph.D. (webmaster of www.Biblequery.org, www.HistoryCart.com, & www.MuslimHope.com) on whether the historic Christian concept of God is true or false as the Athanasian Creed states, "We worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the persons, nor dividing the substance. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is all one; the glory equal, the majesty coeternal ... He therefore that will be saved must thus think of the Trinity." Ritchie attacks the Trinity with arguments used by Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, Mormons, particularly the biblical doctrine of the eternal Sonship of God - that Jesus Christ has always eternally existed as the Son of God (Hebrews 7:3, Matthew 28:19). Larry Wessels, director of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas/ Christian Debater (YouTube channel: CANSWERSTV at https://www.youtube.com/user/CAnswersTV) is the moderator for this debate. This is part two of a four hour debate. JESUS IS NOT THE FATHER The church and more importantly the Bible recognizes the deity of the Son. Most cults strip him of this making the Son only a man, an angel or at best a secondary divine being created by the Father. They ignore the fact that the son is called God just as the Father is. If one says the Son or Spirit are not called God then they would have to be consistent and say the Father is not either. The reason the Father is explicitly called God by Jesus is because he is honoring another.
