We need to be ready to give an answer for our beliefs when called upon. One area we need to understand is that the Bible is God’s word. The very continuity speaks of it’s authority written over 1,500 years by such a wide variety of authors and backgrounds with contradiction. The Bible is unique in it’s survival. It has survived, time, persecution, and criticism. Influence abounds when it comes to the Bible. The Bible was the first to go into mass printing. A book with such supernatural guidance couldn’t have been translated into so many languages over so much time and land. Yet God has chosen to let us see so that we can freely learn from these mistakes and hopefully avoid them ourselves.
