I think it's relevant for you tonight to know what you believe if you're a born-again Christian.
* First of all because there are a billion people that believe what I'm going to share with you tonight, which is in great opposition to the scriptures. * Secondly, you probably live next door to someone who is a Roman Catholic. If you work you work alongside people that are Roman Catholics. And if you have friends, you have many, as I do, who are Roman Catholics.
I'd like to start out by just telling you the seven of the reasons why I believe that I could never be a Roman Catholic, and I trust that you likewise could never be one either.
There're seven specific biblical reasons why I believe that Roman Catholicism is anti-biblical and also wrong.

* The persistent usurping of scriptures by tradition.
* The veneration or worship of images.
* The falseness of the sacraments.
* The lie of purgatory.
* The tie of Paganism to the Roman Catholic Church.
