In this third message from Habakkuk, there is a poetic series of 5 "woes". Each of the first 4 woes has a reason stated for the woe maked with "for." In the middle of these woes is a passage asserting God's glory. The woes also end with a reminder that God is in His temple. Essentially, even in times when God is judging a nation, God is in the midst of the judgment and offering hope to believers that He is still in control and still worthy of worship.
