God has dimmed the lights, signaling that He is about to finish His 490-year plan to prepare the Jewish people to welcome their returning Messiah. The signal is the return of the Jews to the land and the establishment of State of Israel. But according to the vision of the 'dry bone', the regathering is in two phases: the body building stage which is in the process right now where the Jews are gathered in a secular, political state; and the 'life-giving' phase which is future, when the nation will become spiritually alive in time to welcome the return of their Messiah. But the fact that the first phase on the regathering is already in process to points to how close we are to the end of the intermission and to return of Christ.
