Here is an underlying reality for the life of every believer: we no longer belong to ourselves, but to him who loved us and gave himself for us, purchasing us at a great price. We need to remember the Lord's place—our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit; the Lord's property; that I am no longer my own; the Lord's price—laying down his life for ours; and, the Lord's pursuits, that we now glorify him in all we are and do.
