All laws are codifications of morals. All laws reflect the moral positions of the lawmakers or of those to whom they answer. Every society must have some standard upon which its laws are based. If it isn’t a standard pattered after God’s laws, then inevitably it will be a standard patterned after hedonism, totalitarianism, or the opinions of a 51 percent majority vote.
