The incommunicable attributes of God are those attributes that He does not share with us, although we may be given some sense of them. For example, one of God’s incommunicable attributes is His sovereignty. He does not share His sovereignty with any other. He alone, in His triune nature is sovereign over all His creation. Yet, we may get a sense of sovereignty when we are in a position to control the activities of others. This lecture outlines some of the most commonly understood incommunicable attributes of God.
