The law of God commands us to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord. If we play deaf to the gospel call, we will not enter salvific rest and be damned to hell. The best part for the rebellious is they will bow down before Christ anyway, before being thrown into the lake of fire. The Hebrews who rejected Messiah in the first century have already suffered this fate.
