How do we know that our bodies are healthy or whether they harbor some incipient disease? Recent technology offers 3D body scans. Italian mothers had their own diagnostic of bodily health. There were four marks that they looked for. First, do you have an appetite? Second, do you care or are you lethargic, listless and limp? Third, are you breathing? Finally, can you talk? If you were not gregarious like the rest of the household, something was probably eating at you. The healthy church body has an appetite for learning and living the Word of God, caring for others, breathing out praise and prayer and telling others of Jesus.
