1. Confront our convictions/discouragements. When people are discouraged God rebukes them because they don’t have faith in him. Discouragement in our own hearts should never be tolerated. How strong are we in our faith, why is our witness ineffective, why is our life so worldly, do you confront your spiritually condition. 2. He corrects his thinking. “Hope thou in God” Hope: wait in place with anticipation. Wait for instructions from God. We must never allow our discouragement to dictate our actions. Focus your thinking on the Lord. (PS 25:15) 3. Celebrates his Savior. Praise God in the situation.
