NARNIA is the imaginery land created by C. S. Lewis in his beloved childrens books, The Chronicles of Narnia. The first episode -- The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe -- has been made into a popular movie. The message of this place, and its characters illustrates many Bible truths in a delightful way!

Great Sermon! I searched this site for the best explanation of this amazing story, L,W & W. The young man that this sermon link went to on this glorious Easter 2020 was someone who didn’t realize this movie was so similar to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He woke today a non Xtian, but I’m pretty sure after hearing about Edmond and why Asland had to die his heart will be open to the message of Jesus. Today we are reminded our God had broken thru; no Bible Believing Christian should be upset today even in the midst of covid. Our God has conquered death. Pastor Bissett please pray in agreement with me that this young man accepts Christ after hearing this anointed sermon. In His Name. Amen!

Clarification on C.S. Lewis Although very much good can be found in the writings of C.S. Lewis, listeners ought to note that portions of his books are not all biblically clear or uniformly orthodox. Of course Christians ought to always read with discernment! Soli Deo Gloria

Clarification on "Fiction" writings One listener links narnia with the occult? Sorry, friend, to disagree. There can be fiction (and imagination) that is consistent with a biblical worldview! (Consider the parables of Jesus -- works of fiction, if you will -- that most certainly conveyed a God-honoring world view). I do share the listener's disapproval of the Harry Potter writings (which intentionally blur distinctions betwen good and evil). I'd love to comment further via email. May the Lord grant us wisdom and fidelity to His Word. D. Bissett
