The first message concerning "Beauty in the Bible" dealt with the beauty of God's creation that reflects God's glory, majesty and His own beauty. It also grappled with how the Bible described wicked governments of Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar, Tyre, and Assyria as beautiful. It concluded that government is a gift from God (Romans 13). We should pray for our governors (kings, presidents, etc.) to be saved and that we may live quiet godly peaceable lives (1 Timothy 2).
This message describes four other categories of beauty found in the Bible: Beautiful People, the Beauty of the Church, the Beauty of Christians (individually), and the Beauty of God Himself. |
