What controls you? We are commanded not to be drunk with wine, but rather, be filled by the Spirit. The question is, "How do we do that?" This passage provides us with this imperative to "be filled by the Spirit." Included in that command is also the fact that it is something that must be done to us by the Holy Spirit.
