And I ask this because I'm sure we've all done something like that at least once in our life. Most of us can relate to some scenario, of what we or other people did in response to something, that got us caught up in the impulse of the moment in doing something or buying something. Well, this impulse of action, is what new Christians often believe is what happened to Peter and some of the other disciples. People who read through the bible the first few times, often think that Andrew and Peter, James and John were just sitting in their boats one fine day minding their own business and along comes Jesus and tells them to follow Him. And that they, without question or hesitation, drop everything and leave their entire business venture behind and follow this complete stranger. And tell me if this is how you viewed the encounter the first couple of times you read through your bible? Because I did.
