Our theme for this sermon is the glory and dignity of humanity, made in the image of God to exercise dominion over the creation. By nature of the case, we will need to consider the current state of the creation (affected by human sin) and the current sate of our mandate (where we rule wrongly on the basis of our sinful knowledge of good and evil). However, we also aim to see the glory of God's redemptive action, in which he has purposed that true dominion would be restored through the Son, who is the True Man of Psalm 8.
