He who would valiant be 'Gainst all disaster, Let him IN CONSTANCY Follow the Master.
A most intriguing story is detailed in 2 Kings 13:14-19, featuring the dying prophet Elisha and the young king Joash.
Elisha reproved the king for not shooting enough arrows: it should have been one, two, three – and still more! Only then would the final conquest of Syria have been secured.
From this we learn the need to persevere. It is not enough to have a good beginning in our service for Christ and battle against temptation and sin – we need constancy.
This message is designed to encourage and inspire us in our walk with God.
Don't give up ... 'Fight To The Finish'!
