The United Kingdom is anecdotally known as the ‘binge drinking capital of Europe' - and binge drinking is on the increase throughout my own country, Northern Ireland.
Addiction experts are warning that:
• "We are almost breeding young people to drink heavily from the word go";
• “There is also an increase in the amount of girls and young women who binge drink. The figures show that 29 percent of 15-16 year-old girls admit to routinely drinking five or more drinks in a single session, compared to 26 percent of boys';
• “It may take a generation before we can successfully change the psyche, to readjust people's thinking to appreciate that alcohol is not to be gorged: it's not for bingeing';
• “Irresponsible pub promotions should be banned and the government's plan to liberalise licensing hours is extremely ill-advised.â€
So ... what does our Government advance as the solution to this already chronic problem?
It proposes A FURTHER LIBERALISATION OF OUR LICENSING LAWS!!
Its consultation paper - 'Liquor Licensing - The Way Forward' - reveals its plans to:
• Extend the opening hours for pubs and off-licences;
• Relax the restrictions on children in pubs;
• Abolish the limit on the number of pubs and off-licences.
Its policy reads like 'a suicide charter'!
This audio spells out the consequences for a country awash with alcohol, and outlines the Bible's teaching on alcoholism.

Text-Featuring a sermon is a less expensive way to bring this sermon to the attention of thousands on the right bar with optional newsletter inclusion. As low as $30/day.
Great Sermon! A needful sermon as it is a bang up to date survey of the evil 'booze trade' and its present license by our wicked government to seek and destroy all taken captive under its' influence.
A strong warning of the evil of strong drink.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My dad, who would be past 100 now (1905-89), contributed to more broken homes, more wrecks, more fights and spousal abuse, more lost jobs and production than any man on earth in America at the time. In the 1920s, until the repeal of the Volstead Act in 1933, he was a Federal Enforcement Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice. After the law was repealed he went to work selling refrigeration to the burgeoning flood of new saloons opening. In 1939 he went to work for the Hiram Walker Distillery. He rose rapidly through the ranks and ultimately became U.S. sales director for the largest distiller of neutral spirits in the world, National [now defunct].
He, himself, was an episodic alcoholic.
Old Bushnells' Irish Whiskey was one of his imports.
I grew up a drunk in a house and world of drunkeness.
I know more about Madam Alcohol and her devastation than any human I know.
My dad would always say "There are more old drunks than old doctors." "It eases the pain." "If alcohol had not been invented, the Irish would rule the world."
All you say is true...and more.
While the world drinks, satan's minions [Muslims] plot and enact our our very demise.
I pray that your laws are not relaxed.
