This is the 3rd of 4 sermons on Ps 16. Here in vss 8-11 we see that David's security comes from the exercise of his faith which keeps the Lord before him in his present circumstances. His security is not shaken even in the prospect of death. He is so confident of his abiding communion with God, that he anticipates eternal, unending joy and blessing from the Lord. These verses give us the opportunity to examine ourselves to see if we are living in true communion with the Lord in confident joy and secure hope.
