Pastor John continues his verse-by-verse study of the Book of Exodus. Chapter 32 describes the grievous golden calf incident where impatience and the fear of man lead to idolatry. Moses intercedes for the people and God relents from destroying them. Moses, in his wrath, smashes the tablets of the Testimony at the foot of the mountain (reflects the breaking of the covenant), and proceeds to destroy the golden calf, grind it to powder, cast it on the water, and make the idolaters drink it.
