The main text used was taken from the Rev. 19:1-6. This sermon illustrates some of God’s Eternal Decrees from the Scripture. All of God’s works in dealing with His children, His elect through His Sovereign decree of grace was established before the world began. His decree to elect, to call, to justify and to glorify have all been settled in Heaven. It is established and it will come to pass. God’s decrees are Absolute. They are Unconditional and they are Eternal. This message shows five examples from the Bible of God’s Eternal Decrees.
1 God has decreed His Son be the Lamb of God to be the ransom for His elect from the foundation of the world. (Rev. 13:8).
2 God has decreed His Sovereign choice of those whom He would saved through His purpose of election from the foundation of the world. (Eph. 1:3-4).
3 He has decreed all the names of His elect to be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life from the foundation of the world. Rev 17:8.
4 He has decreed in His love the predestination of His elect to be conformed to the image of His Son from the foundation of the world.(Romans 8:29, Eph. 1:5, 1:11).
5. He has decreed that for all those who are elect they will be preserved and persevere to the end. Rom. 8:30, John 17:24, 10:27-29.
