After considering that men in the last days will be "irreconcilable" (implacable, refusing all overtures to peace) Abram's example of being a peacemaker and peace pursuer (Genesis 13) is considered. Abram, the senior, mature and magnanimous man sought to quell strife by giving to the younger man, Lot, first choice of the land before them. Peacemakers in the church must chase, hunt down and pursue peace among one another by seeking a reconcilable disposition, an Abram-like large heartedness, the initiating actions of Matthew 5:22-23 & 18:15, humble, penitent confession and a forgiving heart.
