He has partaken of flesh and blood; He has shared in our nature, that through death He might destroy the devil. It is this phrase that we want to examine more closely this morning. What does it mean that Christ through death might destroy the devil? Is the devil destroyed or is he not destroyed? During the next few minutes I want to show you the Scriptural truth that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only One who has ever entirely overcome the devil, so that all of his works are destroyed in regard to all who will believe in Jesus.
