Lets make some simple applications: 1. Don't promote Christianity or the church with celebrities. Put forth Christ…broken, battered, bleeding, dying, rising again for sinners who have no other hope. 2. Don't seek the company of intellects and social movers and shakers and the sons of the great in a quest for significance. Release yourself into the company of wretches who have been found by amazing grace. Don't misunderstand me… don't make a new class of being wretched as if that were something to boast in. Boast only in this… God has an answer for wretched sinners.
