Martin Luther commented on this passage, "After terrifying us, the Apostle now comforts us; after pouring wine into our wound, he now pours in oil." Let us hear how Christ was fully God and fully man but His divinity did not diminish the struggles of temptations as a human, and how Christ was always without sin. May God use this expositional sermon to build His church.
