This week on “Encounter God’s Truth,” Old Testament scholar Dr. John Whitcomb describes how Noah and his sons were to build the ark that would serve as a floating bridge to take them into the post-flood world. This is part of volume one of our new series, “Genesis—History of Beginnings.” We are considering the catastrophe that came upon the whole world by means of the Genesis flood, and this time we will learn about the building of the ark, the animals that came on board and the fate of the people who refused Noah’s warnings. Following the message, host Wayne Shepherd asks Dr. Whitcomb why people rejected God’s gracious offer to enter the ark and survive the flood. He also asks our speaker to expound on Jesus’ words about the flood in Matthew 24:37-39 – and how they relate to God’s plan for the future. Thanks for listening to our Bible-teaching program this week! Remember, God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end. We hope you will share it with friends by pointing them to our program.
