In this final class on wisdom literature in Scripture, the objective is to look at how the wisdom books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job fit into the larger context of our biblical canon. This lesson explores Jesus' use of proverbs and wisdom genre, Paul's view of futility and vanity in light of Christ's work, and how Jesus' viewed the retribution principle found Job. At the end, we look for wisdom in Jesus' humanity, divinity, and finished work on the cross.
