Great Sermon Mr. Western! I had a Jehovah's Witness (JW) acquaintance ask me, "What is the rapture?" I have heard your viewpoint many times over the past 35 years (I am 54 now) and your sermon in my opinion is a great explanation of the rapture. Your sermon is "strong meat" in my opinion. I think I need to focus on the "milk" with my JW acquaintance first. I have not emailed him in 2 years and the last two emails he did not respond to my two questions - 1. What is the gospel? and 2. In who's name do you baptize? I say this JW seems sincere, because he asked me four years ago, "Gerry, if you have the truth, show me!" I feel confident I know the truth and our Father in heaven much better now. I am hesitant to spend time with him because as our Lord says, "you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem first (I believe this applies to ourselves and our own natural families first). My eldest brother in law is 73, my eldest sister is almost 72. My eldest sister has shown great interest in the gospel, but my eldest brother in law has shown little interest. One of my Bible teachers encouraged us to "plant the seed of the gospel" while in line with a stranger.
