The righteous can find deliverance and shelter in the LORD only because of His patience exhibited before they trusted in Him. It is true that the anger and indignation of the Lord will come upon the wicked. But He is merciful, waiting for them to turn to Him before He turns upon them. Perhaps patience and the long view of things would help us deal with the wickedness around us.
