Wonderful! One of best sermons I’ve heard on the atoning work of Christ. Also, Mr. Hughes is a wonderful expository preacher of the Scriptures.

Great Sermon! Please listen to this if you want to hear one of the clearest and meaningful presentations of the atonement you could ever hear. This is the neglected heart of the gospel picked up from the scrap heap of neglect and given to us who are all in great need of a heart transplant or at the very least in need of an understanding and appreciation for our new heart. Thank you Mr. Hughes.

Great Sermon! Preaching the gospel from mark 10. I was reminded of a lot of truths, and worthwhile listening to.

Great Sermon! This message was originally delivered at Trinity Ministerial Academy in NJ on Oct. 18th, 1994 (two days before the birth of my daughter). Pastor Hughes was preaching at a Pastors Conference and my pastor and a few of the men at our church decided to drive from Long Island to NJ that afternoon, with no previous planning. We jumped in the church van and got there in time to hear this glorious gospel message. I wept then and I still weep today every time I listen to it. This past week I made several copies of this sermon and gave it to several brothers. They all wept with sadness and joy. The Lord has been pleased to use this message for the good of many of His children. May He receive all the praise!!

makes me love Jesus more One of the most piercing presentations of the gospel I have every heard. Brings me to tears also, even thinking about the love of God demonstrated on the cross.
I listened to it on cassette tape years ago over and over, I'm glad to see it on the web now!
