In the evening we will see the two effects of gospel preaching as told to us in Acts 13.42-52 and properly summarized in Canons of Dort 2.6, 7. Those two effects are the rejection by fallen sinners and the opening of the heart by God's grace. We need to realize these two ways of response to that one preached gospel.
