As we have seen in our last two studies, in vv. 24-25 of Romans 3 Paul says that we are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.
Today, as we continue to work our way through the book of Romans, we come to 3:27-31, where Paul begins to draw out some necessary implications of the doctrine of justification by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. What we will see this morning from our text is that God's way of salvation leaves us no room to boast about our own efforts.
