This verse and passage is often misunderstood, so I hope to bring a bit more clarity to it. Does God really Will to save all humanity? We will consider the will of God in His Decretive Will, His Preceptive Will, and His Will of Disposition. Yet, all of these are part of His sovereign will. Plus, we will look at who the "any" is of this text. As always, I claim no originality, but I am a product of my study. I will quote and/or refer to Sproul, Berkhof, Horton, and others.
