All of God's good gifts to men are capable of being sinfully misused and abused. For instance in Psalm 104:15 the following are all listed as good gifts to men: 'wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man's heart.' And yet we know that wine can be sinfully abused through intemperance, and bread through gluttony. Instead of doing this, we should use these gifts wisely, and so eat and drink to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31)
In the same way we can use our bodies to glorify God per his commandments or we can sinfully misuse them. Sex was God's good gift, and exercised within marriage it is honorable and even God glorifying. Let us then learn how to use this and all God's good gifts to His glory and our benefit.
