He said the growth of Islam was much faster than that of Christianity. He sought to call God's people to: Prayer, Fasting, Repentance and Revival.
Oh, the NEED OF AN AWAKENING NOW! Brother Barnard saw it, and lived with a great burden for the salvation of poor, undone sinners.
