In Genesis 3:16 – 19 the Bible tells us how our family life and our work life are affected by the Fall. Following that pattern, last Lord's Day, our text dealt with our family life and how to behave in consequence of the Fall. This Lord's Day, the text deals with our labor in the same context. Even as we hear of those who wish to redefine the family apart from the Word, the definition, purpose and meaning of our labor before our Creator is being changed. Our text brings us back to the Divine perspective.
