Psalm 46 is an anchor to our lives in troubling times. Verse 1 promises us" the Lord is our refuge and strength an ever present help in trouble."
The political and social earthquake we experienced this past week in our nation's capitol, within the confines of our democratic republics congressional chambers are a reminder that our greatest need, everyone's greatest need is Jesus Christ as our refuge and strength.
Pray that the Lord will be merciful to the people of our nation and turn our hearts away from self to God's boundless grace and mercy in Jesus Christ.
Pray that we will be ambassadors of Christ's love in deed and word in our homes, communities and work places.
Christ is our refuge and He is able to send the never ceasing rivers of gospel grace and hope in the midst of the parched wilderness of sin, fear, anger and emptiness.
In Christ's Love, Pastor Frank
