Having studied these scriptures, the Holy Spirit convinced them that the promised Delivered had been born. They came to Jerusalem with one intent: to worship the new born king of the Jews and present him gifts worthy of a king. Their worship was a precursor of the host of Gentiles who would also join them in worshipping Jesus, the Son of God and son of Mary, the divine Messiah.
