The Paradise of Eden in Genesis 2-3 was "lost" and ruined due to Adam's sin. But the plan of sovereign God was always to, through the promised Seed/Deliverer of Gen 3, restore that Paradise above and beyond the original. So it is no surprise that the description of this promised Paradise Restored of Rev 21-22 uses the same imagery as Gen 2-3.
