Life at Home_03 Ephesians 5:22-28;6:1-3 Home is where our identity in Christ is clearly lived out.Ephesians teaches God's desire for unity among Jewish and Gentile believers in Christ. The Lord Jesus abolished the wall of hostility that divided them and reconciled the two groups by His cross. The Identity in Christ defines a godly wife in verse 22. The Identity in Christ defines a godly husband in verses 25-28.As Christians, we are all called to submit to Christ. It does not mean the wife places her faith in her husband, but it is placing her faith in Jesus to lead her husband. The Identity in Christ defines a godly child verses 1-3.While the world around us struggles to build homes that are nurturing places, the church itself is not without flaws. Thankfully God has not left us without direction. As we live out our identity in Christ in our homes, we'll see a difference in our families and in our churches.
